It was my birthday yesterday and I thought it would be fun to look back on some of my older artwork.
Here are a few pieces I did back in 2003, when I first started painting. Its fun to revisit the path that has taken me this far!
Also, dont forget to check out our show this Friday October 31st, 6-10pm at Art Design Consultants. They have 2 galleries, both on the first floors of the buildings–one in the Pendleton and one in the Pendleton annex. Come visit us in our wacky costumes and have some free wine & cheese and see some diverse art! Here is there website for directions: http://www.artdesignconsultants.com/

Alison and I will be taking work down to ADC today for our show on the 31st.
I also got a mural project to work on through the Sayler Park Arts Council!!! Im very excited about doing it. Its not huge, 8′X12′, which is actually a good thing. That way Ill be able to work on it inside this winter. Ill keep everyone posted on the progress.
In the meantime, here are some really cool sites I have found while doing research into how to do this mural.

God loves you!
He doesnt have it to give, He IS IT! You can do nothing to gain His love, or loose His love. He is Unconditional love.
Anyways, God loves you, YEAH YOU!
1 John 4:7
God Is Love
7-10My beloved friends, let us continue to love each other since love comes from God. Everyone who loves is born of God and experiences a relationship with God. The person who refuses to love doesn’t know the first thing about God, because God is love—so you can’t know him if you don’t love. This is how God showed his love for us: God sent his only Son into the world so we might live through him. This is the kind of love we are talking about—not that we once upon a time loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to clear away our sins and the damage they’ve done to our relationship with God.

Chalk art from Saturday.
Here are some pics of the chalk art I did Saturday at the Sayler Park Harvest festival. I did Picasso’s “Old man with guitar” It turned out to be a great time with wonderful weather. I really hope to be doing some more sidewalk art, it was really fun and rewarding. Look for more of these from me in the future. Enjoy!
